Compute while a branch runs, storage for your Safe Copy and whatever branches change. No per-branch, per-seat or per-agent fees.
Billed by the second while a branch is running. Building and keeping your Safe Copy uses no billed compute.
Measured hourly: your Safe Copy, plus only the data each branch changes — branches are copy-on-write.
Postgres branches cost nothing while pgrun is in beta. $10 of credit included. No credit card.
Move the sliders to match how your agents, CI and pull requests use branches.
From create to delete. A branch bills compute the whole time it's running — set a TTL or use --delete-after so it doesn't outlive the job.
Your Safe Copy is about this size — a little less when protection drops tables or columns.
Sampled hourly — you pay for the hours storage exists, not a full month.
Copy-on-write branches only store what they change: 3.0% of 10 GB = 0.3 GB per branch.
Estimated at our published rates. Free while pgrun is in beta.
No credit card required

No. There's no fee for creating a branch, and no per-seat, per-agent or per-pull-request fee. You pay for compute while a branch runs and for the storage it uses — 1,000 short-lived CI branches can cost less than one branch left running all month.
Every hour pgrun measures your Safe Copy plus what each live branch has written. Branches are copy-on-write, so a new branch costs almost nothing until it changes data. You pay $0.32 per GB-month, prorated by the hour.
No. Your production database stays where it is, on whatever you pay for it today. pgrun reads it to build a protected Safe Copy, and branches are cut from that copy — never from production.
It's a privacy-safe copy of your production database: sensitive columns are masked, faked or dropped before anything is copied. You pay for its storage; the compute that builds and refreshes it is free.
Delete branches when the job is done. `pgrun branch exec --delete-after` does it automatically, and every branch can carry a TTL (1h, 6h, 24h or 7d) as a backstop. Compute stops the moment a branch is deleted.
Branch usage while pgrun is in beta. Nothing is charged against it yet, and you're never asked for a card to use it.
Up to 10 live branches per project at once, databases up to 10 GB, and 2 safe copies set up automatically — we set up the rest for you. Need more? Write to us.
We'll announce it here before any rate applies, and nothing is charged until you add a card. Until then the calculator above shows what the same usage would cost.
Something else? Write to us — it reaches the person who runs the databases.
